[First couple minutes of this podcast are scratchy, but it clears up after that.  We recorded outdoors and one of us (Brett) was fucking with the mic cord.]

Have you ever had a parent go off and die unexpectedly?  How about two?  Two fathers?  No, you haven’t.  But today’s guest has.  Brett lost not one, but two fathers.  Not at the same time.  It wasn’t a double gay dad situation.  It was two individual, heterosexual dads, who passed away in unrelated incidents.  In this episode, River, Brett, and I explore the topic of parent mortality.  Out of context, the subject sounds horrifically depressing, but Brett is a funny dude and manages to keep it light-hearted.  It’s a topic most of us are curious about at one point or another, and one that most of us will eventually have to face.  Listen to the full podcast to learn from an expert.
